LED Neon Flex
Neon flex is designed to provide a decorative lighting effect rather than as a primary light source.
It is low to medium brightness and the thick translucent silicon or PVC housing around the LED chips it gives a perfectly consistent light with no spotting effect.
There is a range of different profile shapes and sizes with most designed to bend along a transverse plane – the opposite way to which LED strip bends, and so are ideal for situations where the light is required to follow a curve.
Low voltage neon flex is available with or without copper conductors. The version with copper conductors is housed in PVC and will support up to 20m in a single run. The without conductors is housed in silicon profile and can only go to a maximum of 5m in a single run.
High voltage neon flex incorporates copper conductors encased in PVC and will support up to 100m in a single run. No drivers are required for high voltage neon flex but the power cables do incorporate a small DC rectifier.
